I am interested in registration for Tokyo Marathon. I have been running for Houston Marathon three times in the past five years.

Please let me know the procedure for a registration in a timely manner.

Chong – unfortunately you just missed the deadline for 2009 which was 5pm on September 22. Check back at the same link ( under “now open” posted above ) for when 2010 registrations will start, probably in the middle of next year.

I heard that well over 200,000 people registered for this year’s marathon, more than 7 times the available spots. That is unbelievable. It seems I am training in vain. I had no idea this marathon was so popular.

I just heard the same thing. It has become very popular in only it’s third year. Good luck – I hope you get in.
