Suspect scales

Seems my body got fatter as I snoozed. Fat percentage over 19% this morning. Well, according to my scales, which have an electronic fat meter on them. Appears to work by measuring the electrical resistance between the right and left foot ( going through the body of course ), combining it with your weight ( as you are standing on the scales at the time ) and height ( which you program in ).

Doesnt work very well.. at least +/- 5% increments depending on time of day, and I seem to observe, dryness of feet. Wont go into that deeper :-)

Went for another run around the Palace, this time with Joe-san. Managed it in 32 minutes this time, mainly due to me hiding behind Joe’s slipstream. Still, improvement.

The important thing to do, is not to multiply that by 8, to achieve a time for 40Km ( Marathonesque.. ) of 288 minutes, or 4 3/4 hours. There was no way I could have run another metre at the end of that, let alone done it twice. Forget it, eight times around the Imperial Palace ? On the same day ? I’ll be lucky to log that this entire month. Still, I have actually started, so …
