Tokyo Marathon

Hmmm … Lived in NY for 28 years and never did the Marathon … Here I am in Tokyo for 6 months and I’m signed up to lose my guts in the streets! Lovely!

How pathetic! I wasn’t even drunk when I agreed to do this! I guess Paul is finally getting his revenge on when I turned him into Godzilla last year! Thanks bud!

Todays excuse . .. in Singapore for a week. Was going to pack my running shoes to do some ‘time in the gym’ but … well, they didnt fit in the case. Pathetic I know. So total Km remains zero. I did browse a magazine in the airport though about running.

I’ve registered today for the Marathon, so now I need to get serious about training and buying a decent pair of running shoes. I’m hoping to do the 42km in in 6 hours or less. Make that a lot less if I’m really lucky !
